I feel like Canadian music is very under rated, we have some incredible musicians up here!

I mean we have more than JB, Drake and Carly Rae!

If you are looking for a Johnny and June go punk rock kind of band listen too July Talk right this minute because they will fulfill your wildest dreams in a way you didn't know was possible. Suggested tracks : Garden and Papergirl!

Joel Plaskett

The only way I can describe this guys music is with a story, so just imagine you're driving and you turn on the radio and nothing is really playing but then you find this random station playing a random smoothing melody and you don't know what it is but you've never been happier. The song playing  here in Canada is usually by Joel Plaskett!

The Barr Brothers

 There are no words to explain how incredible this band is, Just look them up RIGHT now as you are reading this. They are a true diamond in the rough!! Suggested tracks: Even the darkness has arms and Burn Card

Sam Roberts Band

This band is a huge hit here in Canada and too be honest I have no idea if people know about them internationally, so if not, you have too. They are the chillest band and the lead singer is a Babe-A-Tron! I was privileged enough to see them live last Canada day! Suggested tracks: Brother down and Broken Teeth

Half Moon Run

Very Very Very cool band. Too prove my point they played at the very famous festival Coachella just to PROVE how cool they are. Personally i don't think ALL of there songs are an A+ but they are fairly new so they are just finding their groove. I'm looking forward to see what they have in store! Suggested Tracks : Call me in the Afternoon and Full Circle.

Not to say that all mainstream Canadian music is bad but we seem to have a bad rep? IDK if that statement is true, I just want to show you guys that we have a lot of talent on this beautiful slice of land!
